Paws 4 Hope received a distress call about an elderly dog left tied up without sustenance or hydration. His owner had passed away four years earlier, leaving him in the care of an elderly individual who unfortunately neglected him.
The 12-year-old pup endured severe skin ailments, lacked teeth, and was caked in filth, having gone uncleaned for an indefinite period.
They christened this gentle dog “Roger” and swiftly transported him to the nearest veterinary clinic for essential medical attention.
Roger underwent treatment for his afflictions and enjoyed a long-overdue bath before being placed with a caring foster caregiver. Presently, he is undergoing therapy for anemia, intestinal parasites, and addressing skin and ear concerns.
Through the unwavering care and encouragement from his rescuers, veterinary personnel, and foster guardian, Roger experienced a remarkable transformation, not just physically, but emotionally as well.
